MI 18 W CHARGER: A REVIEW
The Mi 18W QC 3.0 Charger is one of Xiaomi’s extensive range of charger products which is enabled with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. You can use it to quickly charge your QC 3.0 based tablet or phone through the single USB Type-A port on the charger.
The Mi 18W QC 3.0 Charger can output up to 18 watts of charging, similar to other QC enabled chargers such as the Ventev Wallport rq2300 Wall Charger and AUKEY 18W Wall Charger (PA-T9).
Xiaomi has been consistent style-wise with its product packaging which is also reflected on the Mi 18W QC 3.0 Charger‘s box.
The Mi 18W QC 3.0 Charger unfortunately doesn’t come with a USB Type-A cable which means you will need to connect your own cable to use the charger.
The charger has only one USB Type-A port which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, allowing a QC 3.0 enabled phone like the Moto G4 Plus or Mi 5 or tablet to rapidly charge using these power profiles: 5 volts @ 2.5 amps, 9 volts @ 2 amps, and 12 volts @ 1.5 amps. The charger should be backward compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and 1.0 as well.
The Mi 18W QC 3.0 Charger is a compact option that you can easily carry along to keep your mobiles charged. Although the charger only provides a single 18W charging out port, it is more than sufficient to power most of the popular phones and tablets currently in the market.
